I loved the little town, I thought the characters were great. I loved the drunk Vegas situation. I always think thats a fun trope- and it happens often enough in books that YES. it's a trope.

Fake dating, marriage of convenience is a personal fave of mine.
I will say Sila's reticence felt a tad unfounded. I could have used more backstory on that. And the whole deal with Eden was lame and uneccesary. She could have totally fucked off and it wouldn't have changed the plot or dynamics one bit.

I think the back and forth got a teensy repetitive, but I wasn't mad about it
