Did you read the first book? No. GO READ IT. YES? WHY ARE YOU READING SPOILERS!
The story picks up pretty much where it left of and it's like the slowest fucking car crash and still amazing.
Overall reco: So I gave the first one 4 stars and this one I decided to give 5. Spice was higher, but if you are thinking about reading this book and even remotely liked the first one, just read it. How you were rabid for the next part I don't know. The author's deep introspection into their thought processes isn't better, but it doesn't matter. it doesn't matter

This, I think. This is all I need. Oxygen? Who fucking needs it? Shit’s poisonous anyhow.
Plot: 4/5
Spice: 3/5
Characters: 4/5
(The Good)
We didn't exactly hit the ground running but that first chapter back felt so fucking good almost viscerally good.
The character arcs had a chance to shine, really shine here.
The spice was hotter, more descriptive, and just felt better It also didn't take as long to get to but I was not longer reading for the spice.
(The Bad)
They will never be able to make a movie about this because there is no actor in the world that will be able to pull off all the time you spend in their heads. I put this in bad but it wasn't bad. It felt real. I have really disordered thought processes and this really felt like my own brain sometimes. Broken and jumbled and not always making sense, especially in the heat of a moment. I know this is something I might not have like thought if I didn't connect with the characters. so.. yeah.
