Oh wow where do I begin?
First let me say that if I’m really liking an audiobook of this length it usually takes me two days to finish it. It took me ten days to be done with this book. Early on I kept losing interest because honestly most of the reveals were pretty easy to predict. I never believed her father left them and I know the book wanted us to think Maggie had killed him but as soon as they started to hint at Nina’s dark side I knew she had done it. I also figured he was abusing her because it was just right there in front of me. I did like how the antagonist becomes the protagonist and vice versa. By the epilogue I wanted peace for Maggie. In hindsight it’s a good book, I just really struggled with staying engaged. I’m glad I stuck it out though.
