In Cold Blood by Truman Capote

5.0

The writing can be a bit dense at times, large blocks of solid text—but even though that can appear overwhelming, the actual content of the text is superb.

Capote is obviously a talented writer, and goes into incredible detail over the smallest facts. He does a brilliant job of bringing the Clutters to life and reminding us of their humanity throughout the novel. Tragic story, but told in a respectful and captivating way.
