Although it was heavily centred around mafia the story just lacked any oomf and the FMC annoyed me, I get that we love quirky characters but to have them be so quirky its kind of... dare I say.. cringe?

What drew me in via a tiktok video was a moment when the dogs move from being aggressive guard dogs to cute little pups with bows and I'll be honest that scene disappointed me. Maybe I'd put the expectations too high in my head?

The book was okay, the plot was meh and the back and forth between the mmc and the fmc was drab and seen a million times before.
