Did you used to steal your moms trashy romance books as a kid? Did you obsessively read fanfiction in middle school about every little show you watched? If so, this book will be PERFECT for you. And I mean, PERFECT.
Trope-y, yet self-reflective enough that it seems genuine and like it fits the plot, and cheesy, but well-written in a way that I hardly ever found in my moms old paperbacks. This book was genuine fun and I sped through it so quickly. I love Love, and heart, and silliness, and this book is full of it (with some smart-sounding discussions about research and lab practices thrown in).
Can’t wait to re-read.
