This is Falling by Ginger Scott
5.0
Just calling Ginger Scott an author is too simplistic, she's a writing magician. I have read several book written by Ms. Scott and have immensely enjoys each one, and the books have stayed with me long after I was finished reading them. While N.A. romances are not my go to genre, I know that if it's written my Ms. Scott it'll be well worth it. This is Falling is in no way an exception.
Rowe survived a life altering trauma when she was in high school. Now she's a freshman in college, and she has move several states from home in the hopes of starting a new chapter in her life. Nate isn't looking for a relationship, but that all changes when he runs into Rowe in an empty dorm hallway. But will Rowe be able to open her heart after everything that she's been through, and will Nate still be there when she's finally ready?
This book is emotionally packed, with past trauma, new love, and some heartache. As with many others books that I've read from Ms. Scott, this book did not fail to bring me to tears when the emotions hit the fan. The characters within this book are multidimensional and you can easily connect with them. My favorite part of this book by far was the prankster ways of the main characters; it lent to funny scenes within the story that helped counter balance some of the sadness. This was for sure another home run book for Ginger Scott!
*I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion*
