The solemnity of circumstance… I’ve read so many 5-Star books of late that I am starting to doubt my own cynicism. And now here comes Virginia Woolf with her gender-bending, imperishable protagonist and I find I cannot possibly rein in the starfest; not here, not now, not yet.
