Lasairiona is one of my favorite authors and this book was just as great as her previous works I've read. 

I love that Justin was portrayed as an empath. I also loved how supportive he was of Savannah through everything. Especially supporting her through her anxiety stuff (even though it's not explicitly stated in the book that she has anxiety). As someone who has anxiety and has had episodes like Savannah had in the book, it was so validating to see that represented. It also tugged hard on my heartstrings the way Justin cared for her. Honestly, there was nothing about this story I didn't love.

If you enjoyed the Minnesota Snow Pirates you're going to enjoy this book as well. Even if you haven't read the Snow Pirates, this is a very well done college hockey romance, so if that's your jam, you won't be disappointed. There are characters that reappear from the Snow Pirates and this book given both characters' connections to Minnesota.
