Absolutely loved it. This is the second book by T. kingfisher that I've read and she has this amazing ability to instill a feeling of lightheartedness and an old fairytale atmosphere into her stories, even when they get dark in subject matter. I really enjoy that. I also really enjoy the 30 year old MC and the rest of the colorful cast, the unexplained take it as it is magic, the undercurrent of love and respect between so many of the characters, the uncomplicated nature of the story especially that never dwells too long on anything it doesn't need to. Such a breath of fresh air.
