I loved this book! I'm generally a fan of your police procedural novels. Throw in a non-typical police officer at the centre and I'm even more sold. I liked Henley's character and I think what I liked most was that she was very in touch with her own mental health limitations and cognisant of the damage the rigours of the job was doing to her mentally. My least favourite character was her husband, Rob. What an absolute moron that bloke was. He in no way deserves his wife, he is a literal moron. When your wife who is a police Inspector no less, tells you not to do something, you don't do it. Idiot.

I will definitely read the next book in the series and will be open to reading more from this author.
