Just a fantastic memoir! As soon as this book started, I was hooked and blew through it in a day. This book is informative and interesting, but it is also so smart, honest, intricate, and makes beautiful connections between Islam and the queer experience. Linking stories/people/beings in the Quran to the author’s lived experience was so well done and made both aspects richer. I really enjoyed the audiobook experience, the narrator does a great job. Please go read this book, a must read!
