The Party by Mona Ingram

1.0

I like finding new authors via free shorts. I won't be going back for more Ingram. There was no growth as a couple, everything was perfect and it felt like the author had to couple everyone up as a plot device.

None of the characters, outside of Simon, had any personality. I'm giving it 1.5 stars because I enjoyed Simon. That's the only reason. But I don't think he was given any real thought into his autism diagnosis beyond plot.

The story needed serious editing and direction. I only rated 1 star because the 1/2 star wasn't enough to jump it up to 2.
