I bet your wondering how I came up with 2.75 star rating, & boy I’ll tell y’a! Holden(our main character) is a real interesting guy. I think this book is a well written book about coming of age & innocence vs adulthood. There lots of imagery and theme throughout the book, but I didn’t enjoy read this book all that much. My favorite part of the whole book, was when Holden talks about his paper of ancient Egypt that he wrote & his professor read aloud to him; then he sees the mummies in the museum at the end and quotes the phony paper he wrote up for literature class. Oof, Holden. Get a grip.
