“You changed everything for me.”
Oh how I loved this one.
Liv & Knox were just the right amount of hardness & softness.
They offset each other in their own ways and it works.
Being completely separate from the other guys makes this one all about them and I loved how it unfolded.
The relationship that these two form together out of survival at first then as accepting to what they truly want is so good. Knox deals with his past in a way that is so common with the bi-awakening trope but this one was different. He accepted it but fought it to be with his best friend at the risk of losing him. Liv comes to realize that maybe there has always been something there all along as far as Knox is concerned but struggles to let go of his ways and it comes with a price.
These two have layers to them and once you get into it it isn't hard to understand why these two go about things the way they do, they just work. Knox & Liv are end game.
Plenty of emotions are in this one mainly from Knox and I just wanted to reach in and hug him so much. Acceptance is a hard thing when all you have known is that what you are is wrong and the person that made you think that way still rules your thoughts on it.
Truly a great book on acceptance and consequences that happen in life.
Lets be real, there is spice.. whoo is there spice.
These boys sure do have mouths on them and it was so good.
We get to see everyone else too from the other books to catch up and realize that this series is a found family to it's core.
Triggers are a thing, this one has some not many but there is some that can be touchy so please read them before starting. Then again, if you have read all the other books you know each one has a new set of triggers and should be read. Always protect yourself before starting a new book with triggers.
