Not Dead Yet: The Memoir by Phil Collins
4.0
You'll laugh. You'll cry. You'll be glad you are not famous. You'll especially be glad you are not an insecure, work-obsessed celebrity loved by millions but who can't keep his home life together.
I really enjoyed this book. Collins shows a lot of humor and is very British. Do the audiobook. It's worth it for his turn of phrase and impersonations of others. He puts a lot of emotional stuff out there, but still seems to be quite guarded in some areas. I can respect that. I couldn't imagine exposing this much of my life to millions.
If you grew up as I did listening to the music of Collins and Genesis, I highly recommend this book. If you want a story of three failed marriages, late onset alcoholism, and numerous medical conditions, I also recommend this.
