Mhairi McFarlane does not miss! Another wonderful wonderful book, with characters who become like friends and such real emotion. This one felt perhaps a bit more tense than her others—like a whodunnit without the murder—but that doesn’t detract at all (may even add some flavor I didn’t recognize as missing).
