Writing is poor and childish and it seems that the author doesn’t even remember what she wrote. On page 12, the letter written by Nora states that there is a brother and a nephew who lives on the ranch and that help with them would be appreciated. On page 16, when the names of the brother and nephew are mentioned by Nora to Josie, there’s confusion and Nora says that she forgot to mention them and that they live on the ranch and Josie gets upset that she’d be expected to help with them. But… Nora wrote the letter and mentioned them in the letter and now they are both acting like it’s a complete surprise? Not promising for the rest of the story. dnf.
