His Prince by Cora Rose
4.5
I just knew after finishing The Silencer that this book would make me feel all the things. In that book Angel is portrayed as an quite sheltered and innocent young man and that the marriage to Mikhail is not as happy as he tries to make his dad and best friend think.
These two books overlap, so I would say you will get more out of His Prince if you read The Silencer first, but it is not necessary.
Yes, Angel is quite innocent and has been sheltered but he very quickly showcases that; you may think of me as weak but I am anything but that. When Mikhail leaves Angel after their wedding night, he steps up and shows not just his husband but everyone else around him that he is stronger and more fierce than they first thought.
The Angel becomes the Devil!
They way Mikhail FAFO is just chef's kiss! I laughed so hard and pumped my fist in victory, never underestimate an angel. The fact that all of Mikhail's men love Angel “Little Husband” doesn't help Mikhail when he finally returns.
The overall plot is fun and suspenseful and the side characters are intriguing and my love for Bane just grows. I don’t know what I want more; Bane or Ivan’s story. There are a couple of surprises in the later part of the book that I didn't see coming but it made it even more enjoyable to read.
