Better Hate Than Never by Chloe Liese
5.0
I loved this book! The representation in this book is incredible: ADHD rep appeared to me to be done well when compared to what I've been told by friends who have it, the migraine rep was spot on to what I've experienced and what I know from a family member with chronic migraine, and the demisexual rep is definitely up there with the best I've read and made me feel SEEN. The tension between the two leads, first as disdain covering for hurt and longing and then later when they both want each other in more ways than one, felt palpable. The way they both work on themselves and open up to the other was beautiful. I was glad to see the friend group again and am very interested in Jules' story, especially since the sneak peak first chapter revealed something that I relate to do much. It's been a while since I read the first book but I remember enjoying that one, and I think I liked this one even more!
