I liked this plot! I think it ended well, was well thought out and didn’t feel awkward.

I took off a half star because Silas was a douche and because Maude was made out to be what I felt was emotional: ‘She tried to control herself as best she could’ 😒…. Did we say that about any males in the book? No. No we did not, there was no good reason to make that comment about someone who was supposed to be a commanding lead female in this storyline.

Maybe I just adored Maude as a female in a male dominated field. I feel like she was owed more.
