As an adult, re-reading these books that made such an impression on me a s a child is just as magical and entertaining. An amazing character, and Travers, while she had a slightly more tart vision of this magical nanny than Disney and Julie Andrews did, had an imagination that has been rivaled by few. The main character's acerbic wit is entertaining enough for any adult.
