DNF at 200 pages (43%)

I was really excited to read this book. I’ve previously read one book from the author and loved it, but unfortunately this one just didn’t do it for me.

There wasn’t anything wrong with this book and it wasn’t a bad book by any means, but for some reason I wasn’t really invested in the storyline and my mind kept wandering around while reading.

I had a hard time trying to connect with the characters and, to be honest, I didn’t really like Ella as a main character.

The secret society aspect wasn’t explained that much, at least not in the part I’ve read. Of course I can’t talk about the rest of the book.

I will probably try to read this book again sometime in the future, but unfortunately right now I wasn’t interested enough in the storyline to finish reading it.
