The last couple of days I was almost permanently thinking about this book, so it was high time to read it again. This book is one of my favourite cozy reads. It's thrilling and emotional with a satisfying ending. I also love the characters they are somehow very deep and shallow at the same time.
I also love that the hero was a young girl. Who helps the ghost all by her self, and she was the only one who is able to help him.
The only thing I don't love about the story are the extreme religious and puritanical references. I know it's important for the story but I still don't love it.
When I finished the book I cryed like always. They have so many beautiful word pictures and it's just so beautiful and peaceful.
Well there is a reason I read this book so often.
In my opinion the best classic story in existence.
