5.0

This has been on my list for literally a year, and mostly stalled by two things: 1) accessing the book as I am not overflowing with cash and 2) having something suitable to use the book as a reward for.

Well first it went on sale for $3.99 and second I survived 3 weeks of quarantine after surviving 2.5 months of retail so that seemed pretty good by me.

It was well worth the wait. Holy shit. I was sold on it from “lesbian necromancers in space” and it started there on page 1 and ended somewhere completely different by the end after having passed through about 14 different genres. Muir doesn’t put a foot wrong and I would be inventing a new rating were it not for the somewhat lackluster epilogue that (I dearly hope) will be dealt with in the early part of Harrow the Ninth.
