The Family You Make by Jill Shalvis
4.0
At the start, the characters find themselves in a very precarious situation, which makes for a rather interesting ‘meet cute’.
Written in third-person POV, nothing really ‘happens’ in this book. It’s slow-paced but super cute and set among a wacky, small-town cast so it was fun enough to read to completion.
Adventure.
Climbing.
Entrepreneur male lead.
Nurse FMC.
Fake-dating.
Later in life romance.
Found family.
Small town.
Very close-knit / doting family (for the MMC).
Overall:
Not bad, not great but … left me open to more from this author, so ultimately: decent.
3.5 stars
