First half or so is a bit slower on the thriller side. There are multiple POVs and timelines and the main character is an unreliable narrator which makes it interesting. 

Ending is quite unsatisfying but I don't mind that. I just wasn't as invested in these characters as the character in her other books.

I did not like this book as much as 'gone again' and 'stillwater girls' but I still enjoyed it.
