This book was good, but it was not quite for me, I guess. I liked this overall but it did not touch me as much asmI expected. However, I still think it is a great book. Nelson's writing style is a very unique one and I think it was a part of the book I really enjoyed while reading. It made me feel like I was really deeply integrated into the story itself and it kind of put me into the skin of the protagonist. That's the reason gor why I ghink this book is also very insightful, into how systemic racim is still very present in our modern European society and how white people, like me, do overlook it most of the time. Writing this book the way he did Nelson kind of shared the experience as a black person living in modern London with all the consequences ones ethnic background can have on their everyday life.
I can only recommend this as it is highly insightful and educating in my opinion.
