I want to believe that Robertson has some interesting ideas on feminism, but her writing was so inflated and overly abstract that it left nearly no emotional or ideological impact on me. Her style of poetry feels self-important, as if she is trying to prove her ability to be different and unique in writing rather than just letting creativity shine through. I'm very disappointed, as I had heard a lot of good things about this, but it just didn't work well for me.
