Words fail me. I am utterly heartbroken after reading Lunar. What a wonderful novel. I really can't offer any higher praise!
The story was so well written and done so, so sensitively. PTSD was dealt with the utmost care and sensitivity as well. Thank you for that Chloe.
The characters in the book were all easy to like but they all had their own story to tell Fern (who was the main character if you will) in their own time. They all worked well together.
The story was so well written and the premise was interesting. The book is very descriptive and there was very little if not none at all swearing. The story flowed really well and there were no plot holes or any unanswered questions. I did figure out the plot twist with Edith though. I was quite pleased with myself!
Originally the book was sitting at a solid four stars for me. Until the 15 years earlier flashback at the end. It literally broke my heart and I cried for ages after the book finished. For me this handed the book the extra star to make it a 5 star read.
I can't recommend Lunar enough. If you have time please check it out. It was heartbreaking and a wonderful read.
