Paul Takes the Form of a Mortal Girl by Andrea Lawlor
4.0
I don't normally like magic realism, BUT I knew this book was very gay, so I had to read it. I thought it was so well done; I laughed at so many parts, and all the gay references were so good. Obviously, I was not gay growing up in the 80's/90's, so I had to look up a lot of stuff, but now I have 600 gay-lit books to read.
I'm not sure if you're supposed to like Paul/Polly but I found them to be hilarious and interesting. It's a really great coming-of-age story that everyone is gonna have a different take on.
