You Did This by Jamie Millen

This was a random library loan and it was just entertaining enough, keeping me company during exercise, grocery shopping, cooking and working. I do enjoy a good mystery, even if it’s unoriginal and predictable.

“The smell of the (cooking) chicken got her juices flowing.”
^This quote struck me as odd. Right after it was stated, the people in that scene hooked up. I never viewed the scent of deceased fowl as a turn-on myself, but I guess we all have our things. Struck me as odd but you do you, as far as k!nks go.

Based on this read … I was thinking I’d explore more by this author, but after encountering a pretty damaging continuity issue in chapter 60, I changed my mind. I can’t take books like this seriously if they’re just convenient and don’t bother to have continuity. (And then there’s the thing where dead poultry aroma is an aphrodisiac, obviously can’t take it seriously.)

Disappointing.
