Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince by J.K. Rowling

5.0

Out of all of the Harry Potter series, this is the one I read the most. For some reason, the tone of this one had the most re-readability that I didn't really see in the other books. I acknowledge this isn't the strongest in the series in any way shape or form, but it is the one I remember the most vividly I think as I had read it so much. It was my go-to book to bring with me on holiday, to read glumly on the beach (I have an overwhelming fear of large bodies of water so any and all visits to said sandy location birthed intense dread in me) and in my squeaky bed in the chalet at night with the murmur of the sea in the distance (which I much preferred to its physical form). In short, this is a nostalgic favourite of mine and I retain a soft spot for it.
