my first re reading in my adulthood. I was 11/12 when I first read the book, the same age as Jonas, but I didn’t understood the book. I loved it but I didn’t understood the themes inside it. Now I do. This book is a perfect resemblance of a world I would love to live in but where I would hate to live.
I relate to Jonas: he see injustice just when it’s in front of him and he wants to change the world.
I love this book, simply. I think it’s a beautiful read for everyone and even if I already knew the finale, it was bittersweet.
I think I’m going to reread the whole series now!
