I didn't enjoy this novella as much as some of the others by Eloisa James but it was still a sweet and enjoyable story. Oliver and Lizzie were a good match but there was just something about their characters which never pulled me in. This short story is distantly connected to the Essex Sisters series but I don't think it is imperative to have read that series in order to enjoy this book. However, I will say that I've enjoyed the novellas based off the Essex Sisters series since they feature Josie and I felt she never got as much attention in the series as the other sisters.
