Single Dads Club by Therese Beharrie
5.0
Oh my word I loved this book! It got me right in the feels, as they say. Yes, it is a romance, but it is also very much about how your personal trauma can affect your romantic relationships. The chemistry between the two was palpable and while the actual steamy encounters with them were a slow burn, the thoughts they had about each other in this dual POV way before those moments were spicy too! Also, I feel like a lot of romances I read are based in the US, the UK, and occasionally here in Canada, but other locations are often vacations. It was nice to have this set in South Africa and it was their everyday life and home. Also also, the single dads club members were adorable and hilarious... I don't know if this is the plan but I really hope we get books for the other three!
