I don't know where to start. This book had a bit of everything. The meet-cute, the anonymous online relationship, the real-world relationship, slight animosity, lust, anxiety, character development, love and spice so much spice.
This is a book containing 2 trans MCs and their journey to find themselves and find LOVE.
Cam is an indie romance author who has given up on love after a lot of disastrous and transphobic dates. You can not help but feel for Cam, because dating is hard and sometimes it sucks so hard believing you met a good person for them to turn around and be an asshole.
At the beginning of the story we meet Sam, who loves Cam's books and with his latest release has a revelation about himself. In the first part of the book we get to follow Sam's transition journey closely and the way he creates an online friendship with Cam.
And when they finally meet in person sparks fly. Let's just say there is a lot of fanning yourself with the chemistry those 2 give off. 😉
Also the hallway scene (IYKYK) my lord! 👀🫣😈
Also, can we talk about the spice and the kink discovery 👀
WOW the way Sam plays Cam like a fiddle is something alright. And I don't think anyone will be disappointed by those scenes. 🍑😈💦🍆🌶
This book is everything I love, but also so much more. It made me think about how much trust we put in other people and how much we hope they won't stomp on our hearts. This book also allowed me to do some research into transitioning and what that entails. I am sorry to say my knowledge is not as big as it could be, but I love learning and understanding new things. So thank you Lincoln for opening me up further and helping me understand things better. 🩵🩷🤍🩷🩵
