Rogue by Rachel Vincent

Okay, so this book started out really great. It just kept on getting better. Although, there were times I was just like "WTF". I don't believe in coincidences just like Faythe and I think this book had way too many of them. That's probably the only thing I didn't like about this book.
I really like how the bad guy in this book is Manx, a girl. And on top of being a girl, she's pregnant and still killing toms. It's not every day you get a supposed villain that's pregnant and kicking ass. I like Manx's character and I'm really glad that Rachel placed her in the series.
For the part I didn't like, Andrew (Faythe's ex human boyfriend) becoming a werecat because Faythe bit him. She was in human form and bit him while they were doing the dirty and he somehow got infected. We later learn in the book that Faythe can partially shift instead of going full cat. I just think it's too much of a coincidence. But it makes for a good book!
I really like that Faythe wanted to save Andrew. I really love that the main character has so much compassion, even towards a dick like Andrew.
Faythe as an enforcer makes me happier than it should. I think it's pretty awesome that she is the first woman enforcer in the Prides. I also think it's pretty stupid seeing as the tabby population is slim. If I were her Alpha/father, I wouldn't put her into danger or let her put herself in danger.
Now let me talk about Luiz. I'm glad that Rachel brought him back in this book because he should died in Shift because he's a shit head. With him being in this book, we get to see Faythe's mother be a bad ass (which made me love her). Luiz had tortured Manx and is the reason she's been killing toms. His death kind of made me laugh, karma.
At the end of the book we find out that Faythe has to go to trial for her wrongdoings (infecting a human and killing werecats). All of which normally end with a dead guilty werecat.
