Absolutely phenomenal! Kandi’s best book (that I’ve read!) and probably one of my favorite books of the year! I honestly cannot believe this book (or any of Kandi’s books tbh) are still being indie published! FALSE START is beautiful, deep, funny, tender, sexy, sad, hopeful, etc. etc. etc. I loved it SO much and inhaled it in like 1.5 sittings lol! 

This is book #5 in Kandi’s football romance series titled the Red Zone Rivals but it actually has very minimal football in it! So if you’re someone who maybe doesn’t love sports romance or football romance, I would still pick this up! It felt like if the MMC had any other job! Also, this can absolutely be read as a standalone. I actually have only read one other book in this series and picked it up on my friend’s recommendations. I plan to go back and read the rest now but don’t let it being book #5 stop you from picking this MASTERPIECE up now!
