I went into this book knowing almost nothing about it and I ended up LOVING it. I was completely engrossed while reading it and I finished it in one sitting, it was a quick and really fun read. I loved the witchy small town, the magic tournament, the humor, the captivating characters, the lovely sapphic romance, the banter between the two main characters, and the personal journey the main character went through.

Objectively, I know this is not a perfect book, the conflict felt a bit forced and the ending was a bit juvenile. But that's not going to stop me from giving it 5 stars because I had a fantastic reading experience.
