Priceless by Miranda Silver

5.0

Actual rating 4.5 stars. This is not the type of typical books I usually read, but I was so drawn in by the synopsis I had to request an arc. I am so glad I did because it was amazing. I will definitely have to check more books out by Miranda Silver because the way she writes has you needing to know what happens next. Christina is the girl who everyone thinks has their life together, except she's slowly starting to lose control. She's tired of trying to meet everyone's expectations. Patrick just came back from Rome after a year away and nobody really knows what happened to him during that time to make him so quiet and cold. Patrick has a proposition for Christina. He will pay her for sex, but she has to follow his rules. Priceless is told mostly in Christina's point of view with a few chapters going to Patrick's point of view. I felt this helped the reader understand Patrick better by seeing how his mind works and what his life was truly like. This book definitely brought the steam. It was dark, sexy, and emotional. It's hard to write a review for this book without giving a lot away because it's so good and you just want others to dive in the book in the dark. After all, in the dark it's harder to lie...
