I don't think this did much in the way of explaining the origin of Narnia, which is arguably it's purpose. As someone who's only watched the movies (several times) I didn't think this added much to the overall story. However I did really like Polly and Digory, and the narration was fun. I'm excited to read the next one and meet the Pevensie siblings.
