Thank you to NetGalley for this emanga! Thank you Kodansha Comics for providing this manga for review! All opinions below are my own.
Home Office Romance is a cozy, sweet slice of life that anyone can enjoy in a day. Nokoru, finding the opportunity for work-life balance when forced to stay home after the Pandemic lockdown, meets his neighbor Natsu.
She is a grad student in archeology and he used to have dreams of far away places and fantasy stories. Meeting on their adjoined balcony leads to changing their lives forever.
I loved the previous series by this author (Sweat and Soap) and this story was a stand alone I was excited to read! It delivered the same voice and entertaining narrative as Kintetsu Yamada’s previous manga. The pacing at the end did feel a little fast, I couldn’t believe I had reached the end already, but it was a stand alone which changes the pace to a story. It was also the authors first stand alone and I think they did well with what they created.
I would recommend this to anyone who enjoyed romance manga, slice of life stories, and quick satisfying reads.
