I'm usually not into mysteries, but this book was recomended to me and I'm glad I gave it a shot coz I really enjoyed it, I got wraped up in the main conflict and I was suprised that even though I didn't really like any of the characters very much (they were quite frustraiting at times) I was still intrigued on how everything would enravel.
Maybe I don't have enough experience in this genre but I was actually suprised by the plot twist near the end, I only saw it coming when the clues were getting a lot more in your face. This was some next level gaslighting!
I would say that the characters were kind of stereotypical, but it didn't bother me too much.
