I Am Perfectly Flawsome: How Embracing Imperfection Makes Us Better by Michele Molitor, Tom Collins

5.0

I am Perfectly Flawsome is a brilliant self help book that takes note of the current world we are living in. A world where we are constantly being pushed to find or follow the ‘perfect’ usually decided by a small amount of society that have something to sell or offer be it diets, medical or surgical ‘solutions’, makeup and the like. We become focused on hiding or concealing what might be perceived as ‘broken’, ‘wrong’ or ‘uncanny’ to the majority. Well this book helps you break that cycle and I have to say that while it’s a hard lesson to learn, learning to say I am perfectly flawesome is something everyone should be doing.

I really enjoyed this book, it’s easy to follow and understand and provides a lot of help along the way. Particularly with journal prompts and exercises throughout. It’s not written in a way that sounds preachy or telling but rather a way that is showing and offering alternatives. You really feel like you are being offered help and shown what to do rather than being told or lectured which I enjoyed.

This will be perfect for everyone I think but particularly people like myself who have that voice at the back of your head always questioning how you are and what you do.

As always thank you to Love Book Tours for the copy to review. My review is always honest and truthful.
