Another new to me author and a great book. This is book three in the Until Him series and book seven in the Until Her series but for me it’s the first book that I read from these series so I will take it as a stand-alone although it starts where the previous book left.
Cobi Mayson is an detective and when he finds out that his cousin is missing and abducted by a crazy man he just can’t stay away and follows them and speaks with Hadley, the woman who is following the abductor and her friend. Cobi ends up holding an injured Hadley and takes her to the hospital where he doesn’t want to leave her side until she is recovered.
Hadley is a social worker and because of her childhood and the parents that didn’t care at all for her she wants to help other children so they won’t go through what she has been.When she wakes up in the hospital bed and sees Cobi she doesn’t understand why is he there and what he wants from her apart from her statement for the previous night events.
Cobi is the perfect alpha, hot, demanding and not giving up anything when he wants something and from the first time he held her in his arms he knows he wants Hadley, to protect and be his for more than a night. He is also sweet and caring and tries hard to protect what is his and who he really cares about.He falls in love instantly and doesn’t want to give up at what they could have.
Hadley is a strong woman that succeed more than even she could think about because she followed her dreams and overcomes her family issues.
The dialogue is great and entertaining, the chemistry is really hot between them and although they have to go through a lot of challenges to prove their trust and love, they will get their happily ever after.
I will definitely check the other books from this author ❤️
