I read this novella months ago and then reread it. Then I keep bringing up the characters. My rating has now been changed from a 4.5 to a 5 star read for me. Astrid & Eddie are just it for me. One of my favorite characters, especially because CCJ addresses LGBTQ+ double standards and the phobias that impact them.
