Tackled in the Stacks: A Love Letters Prequel by S.J. Tilly
4.0
This novella was a quick read, and perfect for my day at the beach. It’s a prequel to Love, Utley, which I have yet to read. Might as well start at the beginning. There are a lot of chapters, but they are short, allowing for the POV to change rapidly. I liked it, I always knew what Hannah and Maddox were feeling. And I love the jock coming undone for the curvy nerdy girl who knows nothing about football. In that way, Hannah is my kindred spirit. One thought Maddox had was that he knew he didn’t need to hold back with her, she was solid. And she had the thought about being around someone so large and solid made her feel better about herself. I get it - and I loved to see it represented in a book.
