OH MY GOD!! What a book!🤯 I'm still recovering from that ending, but this book is really good at pulling on the heartstrings in the last 50 or so pages. There is so much that we find out about and learn in this book. Probably one of the few books that are over 600 pages that kept me entertained for majority of the way through! If you enjoy books where you don't fully know what is going on at the beginning and learn throughout the series the full scheme of things, this series is for you! Definitely reminds me of Throne of Glass with the reveals. The found family and characters are so bonded and I feel like Rebecca Yarros is amazing with giving the side characters depth and page time that you can feel connected to them and actually get emotional about in near death experiences.
