My. GOD!!! The last 100 pages of this book gripped me in a way that hasn't been done in a long time. It was fast paced when needed, and deliberate when necessary. I haven't finished a 500+ page book that quickly in a long time, but I found myself traveling with it to read when I had down time. I am so incredibly excited that a film adaptation is coming!!! Since the author is also writing the screenplay, I'm very hopeful that it will translate well on screen. And the author's note at the end...TEARS! I felt that connection to our reality throughout the book but her note drove it home. I cannot wait to start Virtue and Vengeance!!!
